Synergy North Looks To Help Customers

If you have had trouble paying your electric bill during the pandemic Synergy North wants to help.

Spokesperson Lesley Racco tells us it is part of a province-wide plan.

“This program is coming from the Government of Ontario to help support customers…just to help them relieve that stress that might come from some unpaid electricity bills,” explains Racco.

The Synergy North spokesperson explains applications are being accepted online.

She says “It is a one-time payment on your electricity bills that is determined on a case by case basis.”

The utility has been given $52,000 from the province for the program.
