Grain Volumes Up At Port

A busy year so far for grain shipments at the Port of Thunder Bay.

The port has seen 35% more grain than average.

Officials say it’s because of higher demand in Europe and the Middle East, adding many countries have increased imports of things like grain due to the pandemic.

Port officials say they expect we will continue to have higher grain shipments for the rest of the summer.
