Thunder Bay could be hit by some thunderstorms.
Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for much of northwestern Ontario, including Thunder Bay, Atikokan and Upsala.
Meteorologist Gerald Cheng says the potential storm heading our way could cause some property damage.
There is a possibility of some damaging wind gusts that could go to 90 kilometres per hour, and also some hail as well,” Cheng explains.
“If you have loose items outside, it’s a great idea to bring them inside or secure them so they won’t get blown around and cause injury,” he adds.
The storm is expected to last from this afternoon through this evening.
