The City of Thunder Bay is expanding its recycling program.
Effective July the first you will be able to include all #1 and #2 plastics in your blue bag for regular collection or when you bring your waste to the recycling depot.
That means you will be able to include those salad tubs and other plastic containers which have not been allowed.
Currently only #1 and #2 plastic bottles have been accepted.
