Prince Arthur’s Landing Work Up For Vote

Over half a million dollars worth of paving and electrical work is coming to Prince Arthur’s Landing.

City Council will decide tonight on whether Thunder Contracting will do the job.

The firm expects it will cost $638,000 to pave the parking lot between the splash pad and the Delta hotel.

The paving work will also help direct water into a channel similar to a rain garden, which uses plants to filter the water into the ground.

The firm will install some electrical systems so vendors can connect to power stations during events.

The money is coming from the 2020 Capital Budget.
