Visits Now Allowed At City Long-Term Care Homes

Visitors are now being allowed at the city’s two long-term care facilities.

However, there are some strict rules and requirements in place at Pioneer Ridge and Jasper Place to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines.

First, visitations will take place outdoors and one person per resident is allowed to visit once a week.

All visitors must pass a screening questionnaire, have their temperature taken, maintain physical distancing during the visit, and have tested negative for the coronavirus within the previous two weeks.
