A southern Ontario man is charged with attempted murder in a shooting that happened in May.
The victim, a man, was seriously injured in the shooting on May 3rd, and crashed his car into a barrier at the Regional Hospital. City police say they believe the shooting was targeted.
The 26-year-old suspect was arrested at a north-side home yesterday afternoon, and will appear in court on Wednesday.
He’s the fifth person charged in this investigation, and is also facing several gun-related charges.
The first person charged was a 32-year-old Thunder Bay man who police say knew the victim. He was arrested on May 4.
On May 11th, a 24-year-old Thunder Bay man was also charged with attempted murder. At the same time, two 29-year-old women from Thunder Bay and Peterborough were arrested on gun-related charges.
