Drug Restrictions Eased In Ontario

Restrictions on the amount of prescription medication you can order is about to be eased in Ontario.

The province says starting Monday anyone needing Ontario Drug Benefit medication can order for 100 days, which is what the standard was before COVID-19 came along.

For the last while, there’s been a 30 day limit, but Health Minister Christine Elliott points out there is much less stockpiling going on by people, which was happening as the virus began.

She adds everyone is encouraged to buy medication in reasonable quantities, and when convenient.
