Tourism Recovery Will Take Time

Thunder Bay’s tourism industry is going to need all of our support if it’s to make a recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tourism Manager Paul Pepe says it’s going to take a long time for it to return to the booming industry it once was.

“Recovery, we estimate, will take between 18 and 36 months for the industry to come back to its pre-COVID levels,” he says.

Pepe made his comments in a video for the City’s Facebook page.
