The Regional Hospital is joining the Pride Lives Here campaign in honour of 2SLGBTQ Pride month.
The hospital raised rainbow flag for the first time at the start of the month, and placed a Pride Lives Here sign outside the facility this afternoon.
The event was broadcast on Facebook to allow for physical distancing.
Thunder Pride Chair Jason Veltri also works at the hospital and says this shows officials understand how important it is to provide a welcoming space free from discrimination.
He adds the campaign, which started in the Fort Frances area with Borderland Pride, has now distributed 1,500 signs throughout the region.
