Emergency Measures Extended Again

The provincial emergency order will be in place for a few more days.

The regulations around COVID-19 will be in effect until June 19th, including the five-person limit for social gatherings. This also means employees at long-term care and retirement homes can only work at one home, to reduce the spread of the virus.

Premier Doug Ford says it’s to help them re-open the province gradually.

Ontario is still confirming around 300 to 450 new cases of the coronavirus each day.
