Report Cards Coming In June

Ontario’s Ministry of Education is shedding some light on upcoming report cards for all students from kindergarten to grade 12.

In a notice provided to the Lakehead Public School Board and others across the province, they say elementary students in Grade 1 to 8 will be assigned grades based on their learning up until schools closed on March 13th.

Teachers will also be able to provide feedback on the learning during the school closure and if the at home school work will improve a student’s overall grade it will be taken into consideration.

For high school students it will be a similar situation with the final marks submitted in June reflecting work completed by March 13th. There will be no final exams for high school students this semester.
