Business Campaign Focuses On Pandemic Safety

A new campaign is asking you keep an eye out for pandemic safety measures in local businesses.

Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce President Charla Robinson explains the idea is to take a picture and post it on your social media account with the hashtag #reimaginetbay.

“Many businesses have really had to reinvent and reimagine the way they deliver their services in order to comply with new health and safety regulations and we want the community to encourage them by giving them a shout out on social media,” says Robinson.

There will be a daily $100 dollar gift certificate awarded to one lucky person during the month long promotion.

The Chamber is running the promotion along with the city’s Community Economic Development Commission and Impala Canada.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
