Murder Suspect Remains In Custody

The teenager charged in connection with the death of 14 year old Kayliegh Ivall will remain in custody for at least one week.

The 14 year old accused girl made an appearance in bail court this morning on the charge of first degree murder.

She is now scheduled to make another appearance on Thursday, May 14th.

Under the Youth Criminal Justice Act we are not allowed to name the person charged because of her age.

Her lawyer in the case is George Joseph, while Derrick Sylvestro represented the Crown at today’s hearing.

Kayliegh Ivall’s body was found in the area of Lyon Blvd and Arundel on April 27th . She was last seen the night before near Claude Garton school.
