Teenager Charged With Sexual Assault

A 14-year old from White River has been charged with sexual assault.

Provincial police say around 4:30 last Sunday afternoon they were called over reports of an incident, and as result of investigation say they’ve charged the youth with one count of sexual interference and one count of sexual assault on a person under 16.

The identity of the teenager is protected according to the Youth Criminal Justice act.

Police add the youth will appear in court in Wawa.
