Update 9:50:
Synergy North has resolved an outage that was affecting 455 homes and businesses on the north side.
The outage hit much of the north downtown, from Pearl Street to Ray Court, extending up to High Street as well as Peter Street up to River Street.
A Park Avenue business says a transformer explosion may have been the cause.
Sounded like a transformer on Lincoln St exploded when the power went out
