Provincial parks and conservation reserves will stay closed for another month.
The province is extending the closure of those areas until May 31, including access points, car and back-country camping, day use, and public buildings.
The Ministers of Health and Environment, Conservation and Parks say they understand this will affect many people’s plans for May, but say the closure is needed to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Anyone with a reservation for parks or reserves while they are closed will be refunded.
