Violating Distance Rules Hits Man’s Wallet

A Greenstone area man has been charged by provincial police for violating the province’s Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act in relation to COVID-19.

Police say not only did he fail to comply with distancing measures, but ignored previous warnings from local police.

Greenstone OPP add in recent days they received a number of complaints about the man, and therefore have now charged him and laid a $750 fine.

If you wish to report someone not adhering to quarantine, police say you can call them or Public Health Canada.
