Thunder Bay Group Helping Protect Frontline Workers

We love hearing about our awesome community coming together during COVID-19. Today I chatted with Mike Poling, an Assistant Professor at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. Mike and a group of generous (and super smart) citizens are using using 3D printers to produce much needed personal protective equipment (PPE) for frontline workers. It’s absolutely free for those workers but Mike and the crew could use some help. You can learn more through the Thunder Bay COVID-19 Community Resources Group on Facebook. Click HERE .

Check out my full chat with Mike below, and find out what classic classroom tool they’re using to help our heroes!

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
