Another Thunder Bay sports team is choosing to suspend play for the 2020 season due to COVID-19.
Thunder Bay Chill organizers say due to the travel required by the soccer team over a number of American states, it is in the best interest of players, staff, supporters and sponsors to forego taking part in the USL League Two season.
The club adds it had big plans for fans when it moved back into a renovated Chapples Park, but feels this is the best decision going forward.
USL Vice-President Joel Nash says he fully supports the decision, and looks forward to the Thunder Bay Chill coming back even stronger for the 2021 season.
