Premier Doug Ford is ensuring the media he is following his own set of rules when it comes to keeping safe in the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ford says the only time he is around a select few people is when he updates the province each day on the evolving situation.
“For the most part, I isolate all night right until midnight [Etobicoke office]. Outside of being down here [media event] with a small group of people and we do our social distancing. I’m just not out and about, I’m either here [media event] or at my Etobicoke office,” Ford said.
Following British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s hospitalization for the illness, Ford told media he uses gloves and masks when needed.
