Yesterday, I posted about working from home and shared a picture of my work space. Admittedly, it’s a little over the top, I don’t really need that many screens but it helps to keep my eyes and brain occupied. I’m constantly looking for things to chat with you about or to occupy a few minutes here and there. I’ve been streaming a lot of live shows and news while I’m working but sometimes you need to take a break from work and do something a little different. This definitely qualifies as a little different! Pearl Jam has their first new album in 7 years (Gigaton) coming out and from what I’ve heard so far, it’s going to be both different and amazing! Well, with Covid-19 taking up everyone’s time and keeping people home, celebrations for this new album have been understandably limited. Pearl Jam have come up with a fun new way to take your mind off of everything for a few minutes though. It’s called ‘Quick Escape’ and it’s a Pearl Jam video game! You pick a pilot (from the band members) and fly to Mars! Guaranteed, I’ll be playing this for a bit today and it’s family friendly so I’ll likely have some company, in the form of my kids, playing as well!
