Still No Confirmed Case Of COVID-19 In Thunder Bay

The City of Thunder Bay has been meeting with other officials as part of its Municipal Emergency Control Group.

Mayor Bill Mauro understands this is a challenging time for everyone.

He says they are taking COVID-19 very seriously and are working in close coordination with the Thunder Bay Health Unit.

Thunder Bay Health Unit’s Medical Officer of Health Janet DeMille says there are still no confirmed cases of COVID-19 and it’s important that the community come together to manage the local situation through tables such as this to efficiently monitor and respond.

The MECG will hold weekly meetings.
