Public elementary teachers are ready to ramp up their work-to-rule strike action against the government in the hopes of a new contract.
The Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario says it will escalate its political action starting Monday.
It had given government to today, Friday, to reach a deal, but there haven’t been any talks.
No pickets are expected until after the spring break.
ETFO says it will provide further about what it’s calling Phase 7 strike action on Monday.
