A former Thunder Bay city councillor is being remembered.
Dick Waddington died last week at the age of 75. He had served over two decades as the councillor for Current River.
Former mayor Ken Boshcoff says Waddington certainly leaves a legacy in the city.
“We worked together on many things starting with recycling, (Waddington) was an early proponent of that. His work with Pro-Kids, the Police Youth Services, the list is endless,” says Boshcoff.
A celebration of life for Dick Waddington is being held on Monday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the Current River Recreation Centre.
