Kasper Seeks Answers From Province

The CEO of a local bus company keeps looking for answers from the province concerning expansion of Ontario Northland to Thunder Bay.

Kasper Wabinski says he’s hoping to meet with Northern Development minister Greg Rickford sometime this week, to go over ideas to balance the two companies.

“My hope is he will meet with us the next time he is in Thunder Bay. I’m looking forward to hearing what his vision is and his plan is after all this. I’m looking forward to seeing how I can be reasonable.” says Wabinski.

The CEO tells us he still trusts Rickford to ensure all customers’ transportation needs are met.

“I appreciate his hard work of trying to bring a balance of positive services to the region. Obviously I believe ministers should be supporting private enterprise.” adds the businessman.

The Kasper CEO points out being from eastern Europe he strongly favours private enterprise as opposed to government run business, or socialism. He remains optimistic the minister still sympathizes.

“We believe in entrepreneurship and creativity, because we believe in empowering the individual to be successful in his life.” says Wabinski.

Kasper Transportation says it will make necessary adjustments in its business plan with Ontario Northland expected in Thunder Bay in April.

He adds he’s looking forward to hearing what the Northern Development minister’s vision is for the two bus services.
