A number of charges have been laid against a 54-year old Wawa man in relation to a historic sexual assault.
OPP say in September they received word of the assault that happened in Wawa, but they haven’t told us when the alleged assault happened.
Police add the man was arrested Tuesday, and charged with sexual assault, sexual exploitation and forcible confinement.
He was released from custody and has another court date in March in Wawa.
