Next week you can expect another two days off for your kids if they go to a public elementary school.
The Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario has announced they’ll be holding a province-wide strike on Tuesday, February 11th and a rotating strike on February 13th.
Local union president Mike Judge says they aren’t ruling out escalating their strike action further.
“There are lots of things but I really can’t talk about the future as to what the strategies might be but we are committed to getting this deal done,” Judge says.
The Lakehead Public School Board says elementary schools will be closed on those days.
