Alzheimer Awareness Month Marked

The Alzheimer Society of Thunder Bay is kicking off a month of fundraising and awareness events during January to help residents understand more about what it’s like to live with dementia.

A flag-raising ceremony to mark the awareness month took place this morning at City Hall.

Thunder Bay Libraries will have display cases about Alzheimer’s disease and a book signing with local Marion Agnew will take place on January 29th. Agnew wrote about her mother’s dementia and her family’s response.
