Two women are charged with aggravated assault after police were called to Amelia Street West just before 10 o’clock Monday night.
They say they found a man who appeared to be suffering from serious injuries. The victim, a 41-year-old, was sent to the hospital.
A third person in connection to this investigation was arrested at the scene. Police say a 42-year-old man, who was being treated as a possible witness, attacked an officer. The officer did not sustain any significant injury as a result of the assault.
All three appeared in bail court Tuesday and were remanded into custody with future appearance dates.
