Journey To Life Centre Takes Shape

Progress continues on the Salvation Army’s Journey to Life Centre. Major Lori Mitchell says construction is on track, “they’ve now got the whole outside of the building done. The heat is now on inside so they are working throughout the winter inside doing the plumbing, the framing of the walls, and wiring.”

Funding for the project is also coming along with officials telling us they are at 67 percent of their 2.5 million dollar goal. Construction of the new three-story 30,000 square foot building is expected to be finished by the fall of 2020.
