We now know the most popular names parents have given newborn babies in Ontario.
The government says over the last year the top five boys names were Liam, Noah, Lucas, William and Benjamin. For the girls, Olivia topped the list, again, followed by Emma, Charlotte, Amelia and Ava. Incidently, Olivia topped the girls list for nine years of the last decade.
From January of 2010, to December 2018, there were over 8,300 girls named Olivia in Ontario.
