On the eve of a major fundraiser for the Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle Campaign, officials are letting us know that they only need another $65,000 to reach their $220,000 goal.
Tomorrow, Walmart Canada is going to match any donations made at kettles located in its stores nationwide.
A portion of tomorrow’s proceeds from the national campaign will come to the local Salvation Army.
Salvation Army officials note they are pretty confident they’ll be able to bring in the remainder of their fundraising goal and remind you that donations can be made at kettles or online up until Christmas Eve.
Donations to the 2019 Christmas Campaign can be made at fillthekettle.com, by calling 807-345-6492, walk-in or mail to The Salvation Army, 545 Cumberland St. N., Thunder Bay, ON P7A 4S2
