Police Believe Robberies Connected

The search is on by Thunder Bay police for a suspect they say was involved in the robbery of a Circle K store.

They tell us they were called to the store on Waterloo Street south just before 8:30 last night, and were told a man with his face covered pointed a long gun at the clerk, demanding money.

Police add the man ran off heading west though Alma Adair Park.

Police found a rifle they believe to be used in the robbery, and think a similar robbery Saturday night is connected.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
