Looks like Thunder Bay is escaping the brunt of a weather system expected to drop up to 10cms of snow.
Environment Canada meteorologist Rob Kuhn says not only is the snow arriving later, but the amount will be less than earlier expected.
“So the snowfall amounts appear to be about 5cms today in the city, and will probably drop off as you head to the north and west.”
Environment Canada still says travel further east towards Wawa will be a bit more risky.
He’s also saying it will be windy, with gusts up to 50kms an hour.
