Sometime today it would be a good idea to make sure that snow shovel is handy.
Environment Canada meteorologist Peter Kimbel is warning of about 10-15cms of snow coming out of the west starting tonight. “Currently over southwestern Manitoba and north Dakota, moving eastward.” The Environment Canada meteorologist adds another 2-4cms is expected tomorrow with the temperature falling to around -5 for the day.
He’s also predicting when it’ll arrive. “Let’s say mid to late evening, and then becoming heavy overnight. It could actually start as rain near the lake shore.”
The weather meteorologist says there won’t be too much wind.
