A local grocery store is being recognized for highlighting local food.
The store and produce managers of the 505 West Arthur Street Metro got an award from the provincial government and the Ministry of Food and Rural Affairs.
Jim Morancy and Nina Michele received the Platinum Award in the Foodland Ontario Retailer Awards.
Local NDP MPP Judith Monteith-Farrell says the store supports local farmers by offering made-in-Ontario products.
