The City of Thunder Bay has spent the last few months strengthening city roads in preparation for the winter by using the pothole filling machine.
Roads manager Brad Adams tells us the Python 5000 machine has been going deeper beneath the surface, filling in cracks, but also evening surfaces on most streets including Balmoral, Algoma, Red River, James Street and others.
He adds this is meant to prevent water from seeping in and eventually freezing, and causing the ground to crack and cause the road to break down.
Knowing this, we wondered if you think the Python machine has been a worthwhile investment, so we took our news mic into the community.
