Thunder Bay-Superior North MPP Michael Gravelle is raising our city’s guns and gang problems at Queen’s Park.
Gravelle made a statement today in the Ontario Legislature calling for provincial funding for our local police force.
“Where gangs from southern Ontario have infiltrated the community putting an enormous strain on the Thunder Bay Police Service and unfortunately putting Thunder Bay near the top with respect to murders per capita in Canada.”
The Liberal MPP says the federal government gave $65 million to the Province to deal with these challenges, but none of that money made its way to Thunder Bay.
