Woman Sentenced In Child Porn Case

A Thunder Bay woman convicted on child porn-related charges will spend just under two years in jail and faces 3 years of probation.

In May of this year, Ashley Dawn Raymer was sentenced for making child pornography and touching a person under the age of 16.

She will be on the sex offender registry for 20 years and will have to provide her DNA.

In November of 2018, Thunder Bay Police say they were notified that someone was uploading child pornography videos and images to the social media site, Tumblr.

The images were of a girl under the age of 10.

That lead to police raiding a residence on the 1900 block of Frederica Street off of Neebing Avenue.
