UPDATED 11am: Morning Collisions Keep Police Busy

No injuries reported following a 3-vehicle crash this morning on the Expressway, near Red River Road.

Provincial police say a vehicle was stopped for a stop light, when it got rear-ended.

That has since been cleared up.

They also say there was a vehicle that collided with a deer on the Thunder Bay Expressway, between Oliver Road and John Street.

Police say there were no significant injuries in that collision.

And, Ontario 511 website says there was a jackknifed transport truck that was blocking all lanes of the TransCanada, near Shabaqua Road south.

That has been re-opened.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
