Rotary Parade Heralds Holiday Season

The Rotary Christmas Parade is back for its 29th year November 16th.

Organizer Warren Philp tells us they want to see an increase in floats this year.

Last year they had around 45 floats with this year’s goal being 60.

Philp notes the parade is the kick-off to the Christmas season and gets people in the mood for the holidays.

The annual event is taking the same route as previous years starting at the Real Canadian Superstore at 10 am and wrapping up at the Community Auditorium.
