Only minor injuries reported in a crash of a hydrogen balloon near Atikokan
It happened yesterday afternoon.
Both Atikokan Fire and OPP responded to help the two people on board out of the bush.
The two occupants were safely guided out of the bush and thankfully only suffered minor injuries.
Officials tell us the occupants were taking part in America’s Challenge Gas Balloon Race and were second in the distance challenge before the crash.
