Alleged Thieves Seen Fleeing House

A scary moment for a woman living in the south end after finding two unknown men fleeing from her house.

Thunder Bay police tell us it was just after the noon hour Tuesday, when she arrived home on Sills Street, to find the two leaving, with one of them climbing out the basement window.

Police add the house had been ransacked, with various items taken.

They add they also found two suspicious men were seen in the area about half an hour before, walking through peoples’ lawns.

Police say they’re looking for a white man, about 5’8 with a slim biuld, wearing plaid shorts, a T-shirt, and had a dark backpack.

The 2nd individual is Indigenous, 5’8, wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt, dark jeans and had a dark backpack.
