Woman Confronts Alleged Thief At Home

A robbery suspect is the subject of a search by Thunder Bay police following what they’re calling a break in on Court Street North.

They tell us they were called to a home Wednesday night just after 6:30 to reports of a break and enter.

Police say a woman had just returned home, claiming an unknown man was stealing items.

He ran off, and threatened her as she followed him.

The man is described as Indigenous in his 20’s or 30’s, about 5’7 with a very thin build.

He has black spiky hair, with police adding his right eye appeared to be bloodshot.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket and pants, and carrying a Lululemon duffle bag.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
