Team Acadia is raring to go today in United Way’s annual Plane Pull fundraiser.
Captain and 99.9 The Bay and Country 105 Station Manager Scott Pettigrew tells us they want to improve their rankings this year.
“You know we moved up last year from the C to the B division. Country 105 and 99.9 The Bay, our goal this year is to get up into the A division. We have been training all year and we are really optimistic.”
Teams will be competing to pull a plane weighing more than 26,000 pounds a total distance of 50 feet in the fastest time to win.
