A 32-year-old woman is charged with robbery after an incident where a Wal-Mart employee was assaulted.
City police were called just after 7:00 on Sunday night at the Memorial Avenue store.
They say a woman put some clothes from the store into her purse, left the building, then assaulted a store security worker who confronted her outside.
Police say a woman has been released from custody with a future court date.
