Damaged Ambulance To Be Replaced

City Hall could give its formal approval of the purchase of a new replacement ambulance for Superior North EMS.

One of their vehicles was badly damaged in the springtime when a transport rear-ended it.

The damaged ambulance was written off for over $59,000 and council is set to approve a final $90,000 for the new vehicle tonight.

City officials say to maintain operational service levels, an emergency purchase order was issued to ensure timely replacement of the unit which could take up to 6 months.
