Police Investigate Brazen Attempted Abduction

A scary incident for a female walking along Red River Road in what police are calling an attempted abduction.

They tell us it was just after 7:30 Monday night when she was walking near Clarkson Road when a dark model SUV approached her.

The men in the vehicle repeatedly asked if she wanted a ride, to which she said she would call police after one of them got out of the vehicle, and insisted she accept.

Police say she noticed the vehicle follow the bus she got on as she neared her destination on Victoria Avenue East, the SUV turned onto Ford Street.

Police say they’re looking for two black men, both well over 6 feet tall, each weighing over 200 lbs.

They’re also asking for anyone who may have video surveillance.
