Lakehead University is hoping to attract plenty of its alumni for Homecoming.
At an update to City Council last night, LU President Dr. Moira McPherson explains the celebration is on from October 3rd to the 5th.
We will be celebrating our 55th birthday […] during the Homecoming events. During that time, we’ll be rolling out Lakehead’s major strategic projects and initiatives,” Dr. McPherson notes, “And that will be leading into our introduction of Lakehead’s first institutional campaign.”
The University President also told Council one highlight of this past year was the opening of their CASES building.
She points out the school is also proud to have welcomed 1,400 international students last year.
